Morocco drew significant attention during the Africa Day celebration held in London, highlighting the richness of its cultural heritage and reaffirming its commitment to cooperation and shared development across the African continent.
The Kingdom’s participation stood out through the presence of the Moroccan Embassy in the United Kingdom at the event’s African fashion show. The Moroccan caftan, one of the country’s most emblematic cultural treasures, captivated attendees and showcased the depth of Morocco’s traditional craftsmanship and artistic legacy.
Visitors were also welcomed to a Moroccan exhibition space that offered an immersive journey through the Kingdom’s history, culture and craftsmanship. The stand highlighted Morocco’s centuries-old civilization while promoting the values of hospitality, openness and refinement that remain central to Moroccan society.
Held under the theme of Agenda 2063, this year’s Africa Day celebration focused on sustainable development, water access and sanitation challenges facing the continent. Participants reflected on Africa’s progress while exploring opportunities to strengthen economic growth, social inclusion and regional cooperation.
Speakers emphasized the importance of transforming African solidarity into concrete initiatives capable of improving the lives of citizens and accelerating development across the continent. Education and investment in human capital emerged as key priorities for building a more innovative, resilient and prosperous Africa.

The event also underscored the Kingdom’s dedication to strengthening ties between African peoples and advancing the values of cooperation and mutual development under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
