Morocco reaffirmed its position as a leading investment destination during the France-Morocco Economic Day held in Paris, where business leaders, investors and public officials gathered to explore new opportunities for bilateral cooperation and cross-border investment.
The event, jointly organized by the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Embassy of Morocco in France, attracted more than 300 participants from both countries. Discussions focused on expanding trade, fostering innovation and strengthening partnerships in strategic sectors with strong growth potential.
Addressing the audience, Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Dominique Restino described Morocco as a strategic economic partner and emphasized the importance of accelerating joint investment, innovation and international business development.
Morocco’s Ambassador to France, Samira Sitail, highlighted the depth of the two countries’ economic relationship, stressing that closer cooperation and stronger value chains will create new opportunities for businesses operating on both sides of the Mediterranean.
The conference also marked Morocco’s distinction as the first guest country in a new series of international economic events launched by the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reflecting the growing importance of the Kingdom in France’s international economic strategy.
The initiative was supported by several key institutions dedicated to promoting economic ties between the two countries, including the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE), the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Morocco (CFCIM) and Business France.
As Morocco continues to attract foreign investment through major infrastructure projects, industrial expansion and business-friendly reforms, events such as the France-Morocco Economic Day further reinforce the Kingdom’s reputation as a strategic gateway to Africa and an increasingly attractive destination for international investors.
