More than four million people attended the 22nd edition of the Maroc Telecom Beach Festival, confirming the event’s growing role in Morocco’s summer cultural and entertainment scene.

Held from July 20 to August 21, 2026, the festival staged 60 musical events across four coastal cities: M’diq, Tangier, Al Hoceima and Saïdia. More than 120 Moroccan and international artists took part, with performances spanning rap, hip-hop, chaabi, fusion, Amazigh music, raï, reggada, oriental music and contemporary songs.

The programming also placed an emphasis on local participation. Each evening featured an artist or group from the host region, giving the festival a stronger connection with the communities where the concerts were held.

Beyond the headline performances, the event expanded its family-oriented offering through street shows and entertainment villages for children. Several concerts were also scheduled around major national celebrations, including Throne Day, the Anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People, and Youth Day.

The festival’s footprint extended beyond entertainment. Maroc Telecom once again supported the “Clean Beaches 2026” initiative led by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, of which the telecom operator is an official partner. Awareness messages focusing on coastal preservation, cleanliness and responsible behavior were incorporated into the festival’s daily activities.

The large crowds also provided an economic boost to the host destinations during the peak summer season, particularly for hotels, restaurants, retailers, tourism operators and other local services.

Launched in 2002, the Maroc Telecom Beach Festival has now become one of the country’s established summer cultural events, combining large-scale concerts with free public access and programming designed to attract a broad audience.
