The province has now reported 86,976 COVID-19 cases and 5,965 deaths since the pandemic began. Hospitalizations increased by 20 cases today compared to the previous day, for a total of 457. Of those, 75 people were in intensive care — an increase of three in the past 24 hours. The province says it conducted 19,161 COVID-19 tests on Saturday, the last date for which the testing data is available.

Quebec is reporting 843 new cases of COVID-19 today and 12 additional deaths attributed to the novel coronavirus.

Officials say four of those deaths occurred in the past 24 hours and eight took place between Oct. 5 and Oct. 10.

The province has now reported 86,976 COVID-19 cases and 5,965 deaths since the pandemic began.
