BMCI Celebrates First Graduates of the Passerelles Program

BMCI has marked the successful completion of the first cohort of its “Passerelles” program, reaffirming its commitment to developing employee skills and supporting long-term career growth. The certificate award ceremony, held in Casablanca, celebrated the achievements of participants who completed the bank’s flagship professional development initiative.

Developed in partnership with the ISCAE Group, the Passerelles program is designed around a reskilling and upskilling approach. It enables BMCI employees to strengthen their expertise and acquire new skills tailored to the bank’s evolving business needs in an increasingly dynamic financial sector.

The initiative has generated strong interest across the organization. Its first two editions attracted 104 applications, with 20 employees selected to complete the five-month certified training program.

BMCI reported a 100% success rate for this inaugural graduating class, with every participant earning their certification. The bank said the result reflects both the dedication of its employees and the quality of the support provided throughout the training journey.

Through the Passerelles program, BMCI aims to encourage internal mobility while preparing its workforce for the changing demands of the banking industry. The initiative also supports the bank’s broader strategy of aligning employee capabilities with future business priorities.

Othmane Arhmir, BMCI’s Human Resources Director, said investing in employee development remains one of the bank’s strategic priorities. According to him, the Passerelles program demonstrates BMCI’s commitment to nurturing internal talent, supporting career progression, and equipping employees with the skills needed to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

The initiative forms part of BMCI’s wider human capital strategy, which positions continuous learning as a key driver of innovation, adaptability, and sustainable growth in Morocco’s banking sector.
