I’m going to give you some of Trump’s key lines, then tell you how they check out.
“We won states that we weren’t expected to win. Florida, we didn’t win it – we won it by a lot.” — It is correct that Trump wasn’t expected to win Florida by some US media. Antony Green has called Florida for Trump.
“We won Texas. We won Texas by 700,000 votes, and they don’t even include it in the tabulations.” — There is still 17 per cent of the vote to be counted in Texas, but it is not correct that it hasn’t been included in tabulations. Antony Green has called Texas for Trump, as have several US media outlets.
“Likewise, we’ve clearly won North Carolina.” — A majority of US networks haven’t called North Carolina. Antony Green has not called North Carolina.
“It’s also clear that we have won Georgia.” — No US networks have called Georgia. Antony Green has not called Georgia.
“This is a fraud on the American public. This is an embarrassment to our country. We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election.” — There have been no credible reports from of widespread fraud at this election. Donald Trump has not won this election.
“So we’ll be going to the US Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop.” — Donald Trump cannot ask the Supreme Court to intervene. The Republican Party could sponsor a case, but it would need to come up from the states. Candidates cannot request that the counting of ballots stop. Counting continues for days and weeks after every US election.
