Pepsi’s New Apple Pie Flavor Will Remind You of the Classic Thanksgiving Slice, Report

Many of us will be cooking up Thanksgiving for the first time this year and, honestly, it seems pretty intimidating!! Between timing the turkey correctly, remembering to pick up enough butter to make, well, everything, and getting the perfect lattice on your apple pie, FORGET IT. But don’t worry—it turns out screwing up your otherwise perfect Thanksgiving dinner might just be your ticket to trying Pepsi’s new apple pie flavor.

Yes, you read that right: Pepsi is coming out with a soda that tastes not only like classic Pepsi, but also like APPLE PIE. It’s made with notes of cinnamon, buttery crust, and the crispness of an apple so you feel like you had a refreshing drink and a dessert all in one. I was lucky enough to try it and let me tell you, it might sound like an odd pairing but it was really good! It sounds like a heavy sip, but it was actually very light and refreshing, and despite my skepticism, they really got all the flavors in there: crust, apple, and all.

However, don’t get TOO excited because you cannot buy this flavor in stores: You’ll need to win it. Beginning today, you can enter to win your own two-liter bottle of Pepsi Apple Pie via the Pepsi Twitter or Pepsi TikTok accounts. All you have to do it submit a photo or video of your baking fail and use the hashtag #PepsiApplePieChallenge. Let’s face it…we were all trying our hand at baking this year, especially at the beginning of the pandemic. You have some photos to share! You’ll also have to be following @Pepsi to be eligible as well as be one of the first 1,500 people to enter. And that’s it!!! If you win, lemme know what you think and have a happy Thanksgiving!
