Orange Maroc is stepping up its cybersecurity strategy through new partnerships with Fortinet, NETSCOUT and Ivanti, unveiled during Morocco CyberSecurity Week 2026, held in Rabat from October 12 to 14.
Participating as a Silver Sponsor and Cloud & Security Partner, the operator is highlighting the growing importance of cyber resilience as Moroccan businesses and public institutions accelerate their digital transformation.
The three initiatives focus on complementary areas: securing industrial environments and critical infrastructure, improving network resilience, and strengthening endpoint protection.
Through its collaboration with Fortinet, Orange Maroc has obtained the Operational Technology (OT) specialization, reinforcing its expertise in protecting industrial systems and critical infrastructure. The qualification also supports its ability to address security challenges arising from the convergence of information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT).
The partnership with NETSCOUT is expanding beyond protection against distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. The broader approach combines enhanced network visibility, intelligent threat detection and adaptive protection mechanisms designed to improve cyber resilience.
Meanwhile, the collaboration with Ivanti strengthens Orange Maroc’s endpoint security offering. The approach combines real-time visibility, risk prioritization and predictive remediation to help organizations identify vulnerabilities and respond more proactively to potential threats.
According to Nouhade Mechkour, ICT Director at Orange Maroc, the rapid development of artificial intelligence is transforming both digital operations and the threat landscape. She emphasized the importance of combining an understanding of local business requirements with access to a global ecosystem of technology partners.
Orange Maroc is also contributing to discussions at the event through the participation of its experts. Mechkour is taking part in a panel on building reliable and secure cloud environments, while El Mehdi Benaabd, Head of ICT Solution and Product Engineering, is addressing the cybersecurity market’s role in driving growth and innovation.
The initiatives reflect Orange Maroc’s ambition to expand its cybersecurity services for businesses and public institutions across the Kingdom. As cloud adoption and AI usage increase, protecting networks, connected equipment and sensitive data is becoming a strategic priority for organizations seeking to maintain operational continuity and strengthen digital trust.
