Marrakech will host the 24th International and African Congress of Dental Medicine from October 22 to 25, bringing together dental professionals and researchers from Morocco, Africa and beyond.
Organized by the Moroccan Association for Oral and Dental Prevention, the four-day event will focus on the latest developments in modern dentistry and patient-centered care.
Held under the theme “Modern Dentistry at the Service of the Patient,” the congress will feature 21 scientific conferences and 16 practical workshops. The program will explore diagnosis, treatment, prevention, digital transformation and emerging technologies in dental care.
Research will also take center stage. More than 280 scientific papers are expected to be presented through oral and poster sessions. The program will give particular attention to young dental surgeons and university researchers, providing a platform for scientific exchange and professional development.
The international dimension of the Marrakech meeting will be strengthened by the participation of scientific representatives from France, Italy and Portugal. The United Arab Emirates will serve as the guest of honor, with a delegation from AEEDC Dubai taking part in the event.
The congress will be held at the Congress Palace of the Mogador Agdal Hotel in Marrakech, under the patronage of Morocco’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
With its combination of scientific conferences, practical training and international participation, the event is expected to highlight the growing role of innovation and digital technologies in dental medicine in Morocco and across Africa.
