Casablanca hosted the FIFAe Continental Championship Africa from August 27 to 29, bringing together the continent’s top national teams across Rocket League, eFootball Console and eFootball Mobile.

The Moroccan team delivered a standout performance on home soil, securing the African title in Rocket League and earning qualification for the FIFAe Finals 2026, the global event for the discipline.

The tournament was organized in partnership with FIFA, the Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games (FRMJE) and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).

Morocco also reached the continental final in eFootball Console, finishing as African runners-up and securing another ticket to the FIFAe Finals 2026.

On eFootball Mobile, the Moroccan campaign ended in the semi-finals, giving the national team a place among the continent’s top four in all three competitions contested in Casablanca.

The overall record therefore includes one African championship, one runners-up finish and two qualifications for the 2026 FIFAe Finals.

Beyond the sporting results, hosting the continental championship represents another step in the development of Morocco’s esports ecosystem. Casablanca’s role as a host city for international qualifying competitions further strengthens the country’s position in a rapidly expanding global electronic sports sector.
