Hicham Balaoui, King’s Prosecutor General at the Court of Cassation and President of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, received a senior judicial delegation from Burkina Faso during a working visit held in Rabat aimed at reinforcing bilateral judicial cooperation.
According to a statement issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Balaoui highlighted the longstanding fraternal ties between Morocco and Burkina Faso, emphasizing the strong cooperation established between the two countries across several sectors, particularly in the field of justice.
The Moroccan official described the visit as an important opportunity to exchange expertise and share best practices regarding the development of judicial institutions and the evolution of Morocco’s public prosecution system.
Discussions between the two sides also focused on strengthening coordination in the fight against transnational organized crime and combating impunity, while promoting the principles of justice and the rule of law.
Both delegations reaffirmed their commitment to expanding judicial cooperation through future partnership initiatives and greater institutional collaboration between the legal systems of the two countries.
The Burkinabe delegation was led by Pascal Bamouni and Sanou Arsène Francis, who are conducting a working visit to Morocco to deepen bilateral legal cooperation and facilitate the exchange of judicial expertise between the two nations.
