Tangier will host the 18th edition of the MEDays International Forum from November 25 to 28, 2026, reaffirming Morocco’s position as a leading platform for global dialogue on geopolitics, economic transformation and international cooperation. Held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the event will take place at the Palace of Arts and Culture under the theme **”Fragmented World: The Time for Choices.”**
Against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving global landscape, MEDays 2026 will examine the strategic decisions shaping the future of international relations. The forum will focus on issues such as geopolitical realignments, economic sovereignty, energy security, technological innovation, artificial intelligence and the emergence of new global value chains.
Since its launch in 2008, the forum has established itself as one of the leading international platforms connecting Africa, the Atlantic region, the Arab world and the Mediterranean. Organizers say this year’s edition will continue to promote dialogue between countries of the Global South and their international partners while highlighting Morocco’s growing diplomatic and strategic role.
More than 8,000 participants from over 130 countries are expected to attend, alongside more than 300 high-profile speakers, including heads of state, government officials, international organization leaders, business executives, academics and policy experts. Over four days, participants will discuss practical responses to the political, economic and technological challenges reshaping the global order.
The opening day will feature the MEDays Investment Summit, the forum’s business-focused platform dedicated to investment opportunities, public-private partnerships and financing for strategic development projects across Africa and other emerging economies. The summit is expected to bring together investors, financial institutions and public decision-makers to explore new avenues for sustainable economic growth.
