Coronavirus: Saskatchewan Records 111 New Cases Of COVID-19 today

For the first time in April, Quebec public health reports under 1,000 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours for consecutive days.

According to the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, 899 new coronavirus cases have been added to the provincial tally. This is the first time the province has announced consecutive sub-1,000 cases for two days since March 28 and 29.

Public health is reporting 14 new coronavirus-related deaths, three of which are attributable to the past day. Eleven of the deaths have been added from earlier in April.

Hospitalizations have increased by three since Monday morning for a total of 667 across the province. Intensive care numbers have increased by three for a total of 170.

Quebec administered 44,629 COVID-19 vaccines since Monday for a total of 2,916,897 since December 2020.

There are now 346,596 total cases in Quebec, 10,898 deaths, 325,691 recoveries, and 3,302,851 negative cases.
