All residents 18 and older in Toronto hot spots are now eligible to book appointments at city-run clinics. Bookings can be made at http://toronto.ca/COVID-19 or by calling 1-833-943-3900.

Some users of the booking site are reporting more than hour wait time to book an appointment, with tens of thousands of users in the queue. Others are saying they aren’t seeing updates to the http://Covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine site; those who changed browsers or cleared their cache seemed to have success after that.

Some are saying they’ve gotten through the line but their health card has been flagged as invalid.

“Trying for my gf…18-39, hotspot area….We were in queue before 8, got through to the health card info section and it was saying the health card is invalid even though the address was updated…Also waiting on hold to speak to a rep,” tweeted Riaz Charania.

What others are saying about the booking process:

“I was in the virtual line by 7:40-something, and am now booked in. Convention Centre was booked out as far as I could see so I chose something else,” Kasia Mychajlowycz tweeted.

“Success!! The first 5 locations suggested are all fully booked (North York locations) but plenty of spots in Etobicoke. Interestingly, you book your 1st and 2nd dose appts.” Diana Rose tweeted.
