Three more people have died and 441 new cases of COVID-19 were been identified in Manitoba on Sunday.

The three new deaths were all in the Winnipeg region, and include three women, in their 70s, 80s and 90s.

The woman in her 90s is connected to an outbreak at the Seine River Retirement Home.

Of the 441 new cases, the majority were again in the Winnipeg health region, which recorded 318.

Prairie Mountain Health recorded nine new cases, Interlake-Eastern recorded 16, Northern had 12 and Southern Health-Santé Sud had 86.

There are currently 103 active cases in Prairie Mountain Health and 4,849 in the province at large.

Cases in Prairie Mountain Health are more evenly spread out among its districts than they have been in recent weeks, however the majority — 33 — are still in Brandon.

The current test positivity rate in Manitoba is 9.2 per cent.
