British Columbia confirms 358 new cases of COVID-19, 57 in Island Health

There are now 58 active cases of COVID-19 in the Algoma Public health Region and two hospitalizations.

Algoma Public Health has reported five new cases of COVID-19, all in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

These cases bring the pandemic total to 545 cases.

Four of these cases were classified as close contact, meaning they were exposed to COVID-19 through contact from another known case.

The fifth case is of unknown origins at this time.

These individuals were tested on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, and all are currently self-isolating.

There are now 58 active cases of COVID-19 in the Algoma Public health Region and two hospitalizations.
