Two Mississauga residents are facing charges in relation to a recent robbery at a local pharmacy.

The victim complied and handed over the items, and the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.

“A search warrant was executed at a residence in Mississauga where offence-related property, including a BB gun and clothing, were located,” said police.

Police arrested two males, one of which is believed to have also been involved in a string of pharmacy robberies that took place between January and September.

Mississauga man Billal Ismail, 26, is charged with three counts of robbery, four counts of robbery with a firearm, seven counts of wearing a disguise while committing an indictable offence, four counts of using an imitation firearm, and possession of property obtained by crime.

Ismail was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice on Sept. 23.

Mississauga man Abdullahi Ali, 22, is charged with possession of stolen property. He was released on an undertaking and given a court date of November 22, 2022.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and some suspects remain outstanding.
