Sofitel Marrakech Palais Impérial & Spa and Sofitel Rabat Jardin des Roses are bringing a refined French ritual into the privacy of their rooms with a limited-edition collaboration between La Haute Croissanterie by Sofitel and Nespresso.
Available from September 1 to November 26, 2026, the “Please Disturb” experience reimagines the classic French pairing of coffee and croissant as a bespoke gastronomic ritual. Served through room service, the concept allows guests to enjoy the experience at any time of day, from a leisurely breakfast in bed to an afternoon indulgence or an evening treat.
The collaboration brings together two brands built around craftsmanship, creativity and the art of elevating everyday pleasures. Nespresso’s expertise in coffee meets the pastry-making skills of Sofitel’s La Haute Croissanterie, creating three signature pairings designed around complementary aromas, textures and flavours.
At both Moroccan properties, guests can choose from three creations, each combining a freshly baked La Haute Croissanterie pastry with a specially crafted Nespresso coffee recipe.
The experience goes beyond what is served on the tray. Each pairing is delivered directly to the guest’s room or suite with dedicated glassware and a carefully designed presentation. A final theatrical touch is then performed in the room, adding an element of surprise and craftsmanship to the tasting.
Depending on the pairing, the finishing gesture may involve brûléed sugar, a citrus-infused aromatic mist or freshly grated dark chocolate combined with Sichuan pepper.
The first creation, Le Brûlé, pairs a Cappuccino Brûlée Mousse with a Crispy Honey Croissant. Almond provides the common thread between the two creations, complemented by delicate orange notes ranging from orange blossom to fresh zest. The toasted character of the decaffeinated cappuccino enhances the honeyed flavours and golden layers of the croissant, while the lightness of the mousse contrasts with the pastry’s crisp texture.
The second, L’Épicé, combines a Spiced Chocolate Coffee with an Exotic Coffee-Chocolate Croissant. Built around the classic combination of coffee and dark chocolate, the pairing introduces a vibrant tropical dimension. The croissant’s smooth coffee-chocolate ganache echoes the intense espresso aromas, while oat milk gives the coffee a softer profile. Passion fruit brings a bright acidity, complemented by a subtle touch of Sichuan pepper that adds depth and a lingering finish.
The third creation, Le Tonique, brings together a Chilled Orange Espresso Tonic and a Paris-Brest Croissant. Hazelnut and citrus form the aromatic foundation of this pairing. The croissant’s hazelnut praline diplomat cream and roasted hazelnuts complement the acidity of the chilled coffee, while the sparkling bitterness of the tonic balances the richness of the pastry. Orange blossom and fresh citrus zest add a floral and refreshing finish.
Through this collaboration, Sofitel extends its French-inspired approach to hospitality beyond the traditional restaurant setting. The room itself becomes the stage for a sensory experience that combines pastry, coffee and theatrical presentation.
For guests staying at Sofitel Marrakech Palais Impérial & Spa and Sofitel Rabat Jardin des Roses, the limited-edition menu offers a distinctly French interpretation of a familiar daily ritual, reimagined through the creativity of La Haute Croissanterie and the coffee expertise of Nespresso.
