Publix Covid Vaccine Registration: pharmacy opens appointments for Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine Friday morning

Publix is opening online appointments for Modera’s COVID-19 vaccine Friday morning.

The pharmacy allowed Floridians to make an appointment online starting at 7 a.m.

Those who make an online appointment Friday will receive their dose of the vaccine on Monday or Tuesday.

Here’s who can make an appointment:

Long-term care facility residents and staff
People aged 60 years and older
People deemed extremely vulnerable
Health care personnel with direct patient contact
K-12 school employees
Sworn law enforcement officers aged 50 years and older
Firefighters aged 50 years and older

Publix is not allowing residents to make an appointment by phone — they must make an appointment online.

Publix will give Floridians another chance to make an appointment for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on Monday.

The next time appointments for the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine will be available at Publix is Wednesday, March 24.
