Ontario: Driver charged in Brampton crash that killed mother, 3 daughters

A 20-year-old Caledon man has been charged with four counts of dangerous operation of vehicle causing death in a devastating collision at Torbram Road and Countryside Drive in Brampton on June 18.

Caledon East elementary teacher Karolina Ciasullo and her three daughters, Klara, 6, Lilianna, 4, and Mila, 1, were killed in the crash.

Brady Robertson has been charged with four counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

Robertson has also been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle in connection with a separate incident that occurred in Caledon on June 16.

Police say in that incident, a vehicle was involved in a minor crash in the area of Dougall Avenue and Kennedy Road. A citizen attempted to stop the driver and offer assistance when the driver fled the scene.

With the assistance of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Peel Crown Attorney’s office, all charges have been joined into one prosecution. Roberston will appear at a bail hearing on July 23.
