On April 22, 2025, Intelcia officially opened its new regional headquarters in Sheikh Zayed City, Giza Governorate, within the Ivory Business Park. The inauguration ceremony was attended by key Egyptian government officials, including His Excellency Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Mr. Ahmed Elzaher, CEO of ITIDA (Information Technology Industry Development Agency). Intelcia’s executive leadership was also present, including CEO and co-founder Karim Bernoussi, Mohamed Slimani, Managing Director for English-speaking markets, and Nidal Afid, Director of Operations for those markets.

In his remarks, Dr. Talaat emphasized Egypt’s competitive edge in outsourcing services, noting:
“Intelcia’s growing investments in Egypt reflect the company’s confidence in the capabilities of Egyptian youth. Our pool of highly skilled talent in ICT is a strategic asset for boosting Egypt’s global positioning in the outsourcing industry.”

A Regional Hub for a Global Vision

Intelcia has been present in Egypt since 2021, and the new headquarters reinforces the country’s role as a strategic hub for the group. With the aim of serving clients in the Gulf, Europe, and North America, the Cairo-based facility is designed to provide multi-language services across time zones in a single operational day.

Operating in seven languages, Intelcia Egypt has become a critical component of the group’s global delivery capabilities, ensuring that service quality meets international standards. The decision to centralize operations for English-speaking markets and the wider MENA region reflects Intelcia’s commitment to agility, scalability, and customer proximity.

Karim Bernoussi, Intelcia’s CEO and co-founder, stated:

“Egypt is more than just another destination. It has emerged as a key regional platform for outsourcing services, thanks to its human capital, cultural proximity to Gulf countries, and the growing maturity of its digital ecosystem. These fundamentals make it an ideal environment to foster innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable success.”

Looking Ahead: Growth and Job Creation

Intelcia currently operates two sites in Cairo and Alexandria and plans to open two additional centers by 2026. This expansion will bring the total number of sites in Egypt to four, with the objective of increasing its workforce to 4,000 employees within the next two years.

These roles will support clients in key industries such as telecommunications, financial services, and e-commerce across North America, Europe, and the MENA region.

Mohamed Slimani highlighted the operational advantages of Egypt:

“Egypt’s time zone and skilled workforce offer unique flexibility, allowing us to serve both Gulf and Western markets during their business hours—without compromising the work-life balance of our employees.”

A Strong Signal of Confidence and Long-Term Commitment

Through this new chapter, Intelcia is reinforcing its long-term commitment to Egypt and the broader Middle East. The strategic positioning of its new headquarters, combined with strong institutional support and a dynamic talent pool, positions the group to better respond to global demand while contributing to local economic development.

With these new developments, Intelcia continues to write a success story built on trust, proximity, and shared growth across continents.
