There have been 22 positive COVID-19 cases at McDonald’s restaurants across the province since Christmas Eve.

According to the popular fast-food chain, its “top priority is to protect the health and well-being of our people and our guests” and McDonald’s says it is “continuing to operate in line with guidance from public health authorities and all levels of government.”

McDonald’s say when a positive COVID case is identified in one of its locations, a “thorough cleaning by a certified third-party company” takes place in addition to the franchise’s “existing high standards of cleanliness.”

McDonald’s Canada says it is maintaining a commitment to remain transparent with its employees and guests and regularly updates information in terms of COVID-19 tracking on its website.

McDonald’s says it will never release any personal information in order to protect the privacy of its employees and customers.

Here is a list of COVID-19 exposures throughout McDonald’s in Quebec, which will be updated regularly.
