Saskatchewan passes 500 COVID-19 deaths, vaccine eligibility drops to 35 on Thursday

Health authorities from four provinces reported that there are no new cases of COVID-19 that have been reported as of Tuesday. It’s the first day without a new case for Manitoba since April 19. New Brunswick has had no new cases for the last 10 days, and it’s the third day Newfoundland and Labrador have had no new cases. P.E.I. has had no new cases since April 15.

– One new COVID-19 case in Saskatchewan

One more person has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to 366. No new deaths have been reported in the province, as the total remains at five.

The majority of active cases in the province remain in the Far North region with 42. A total of 70 cases are considered active as of Tuesday.

Eight individuals are currently in hospital with COVID-19; two of them are in ICU.
