Zero COVID-19-related deaths have been reported over the past 24 hours in Quebec.

The Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux has added 11 coronavirus-related deaths to the provincial tally, eight of which were from February 19 and 24. Three virus-related deaths occurred earlier in February.

Public health also added 815 new COVID-19 cases, the province’s 14th straight day of reporting under 1,000 new cases.

The number of hospitalizations decreased by 13 compared to Thursday, for a cumulative total of 620 across Quebec. Among these, the number of people in intensive care increased by three for a total of 1,119.

Since Thursday morning, 12,038 doses of vaccine were administered for a total of 400,540 across the province.

There are now 286,145 COVID-19 cases across the province, 267,885 recoveries, 10,372 deaths, and 2,745,977 negative tests.
