Toronto police are looking for two people considered armed and dangerous in connection to a homicide investigation Thursday night in the Upper Beaches.

Officers say around 8 p.m. that night, they responded to a call at 1910 Gerrard Street East, in the area of Woodbine Avenue and Gerrard Street.

It’s been reported that a woman was in the rear parking lot at that address and a suspect shot the victim, police say. Police said previously a person was found in an alleyway suffering from serious injuries and died at the scene, adding the circumstances appeared suspicious.

The victim has since been identified as 32-year-old Megan Elizabeth Crant.

Police say there’s been two arrest warrants issued. 25-year-old Nicholas Hirsch of Toronto is wanted for first degree murder and 29-year-old Chelsey Mais of Toronto is wanted for accessory after the act to murder.

If you see them, police are advising you not to approach them and to instead call 911.

Anyone with information about this homicide investigation is being asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
