Investigators are turning to the public in search of dashcam footage of a hit-and-run collision where a pedestrian was struck last week in the southwest.

At approximately 5 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, a woman was walking south along Churchill Drive S.W., when she entered a marked crosswalk at Heritage Drive S.W. Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle striking the pedestrian and called police. Upon arrival, police located an injured woman in her 40s. The woman was transported to hospital with minor injuries and has since been released.

A photo of the suspect’s vehicle is available on the City of Calgary Newsroom.

Police are asking citizens who have dashcam footage showing the area of Heritage Drive S.W. between Elbow Drive and 14 Street S.W. at the time of the incident to contact police.
