inwi is opening a new channel for young Moroccan creative talent to influence the telecom operator’s advertising. In Casablanca, the company announced the three winners of the first edition of “The Next Ad,” a national competition designed to turn emerging creators into contributors to real brand campaigns.
Oussama Bensghir, Younes El Mendery and Rayan El Kaouid emerged as the winners after competing in a final round featuring 12 shortlisted candidates. Their concepts were assessed by a jury made up of creative directors and professionals from the advertising and communications industry.
The prize goes beyond recognition. The three winners will receive collaboration contracts with inwi, giving them the opportunity to work on actual communication projects for the brand and gain direct exposure to professional advertising production.
Bensghir also received the Public Favorite Award following an online vote. He will receive a creative-content kit to support his future projects. The Jury Favorite Award went to Houssam Salah.
The initiative attracted significant interest from Morocco’s young creator community. More than 1,500 entries were submitted during the summer, resulting in over 250 original creations published by participants on their social media platforms.
Twelve finalists were subsequently selected for an intensive development phase. They took part in a bootcamp covering the advertising industry, with masterclasses, meetings with creative professionals and individual mentoring sessions.
The program was designed to help participants move from initial ideas to structured advertising concepts capable of being developed in a professional setting. Their final projects were then submitted to public voting before the jury made its final selection.
For inwi, “The Next Ad” also provides a practical extension of its “Sir B3id” brand platform, which focuses on ambition, self-improvement and turning aspirations into reality.
The competition therefore serves a broader purpose than identifying three winners. It creates a direct bridge between Morocco’s emerging creators, established advertising professionals and the communication projects of one of the country’s major telecom operators.
With the three winners now moving into collaboration with inwi, the initiative shifts from competition to production, giving young Moroccan creators the opportunity to see their ideas move from social media concepts to campaigns developed for a national brand.
