Houda Chafil is taking on a broader leadership role at CIH Bank, where she has been appointed Deputy Managing Director in charge of the Corporate & Real Estate Banking division.

She joined CIH Bank in September 2025 as Deputy Managing Director, already overseeing the same strategic area. Her latest appointment further strengthens her position within the bank and places her at the center of initiatives targeting corporate clients, real estate financing and the development of related business activities.

Chafil brings more than 25 years of experience across banking, finance, investment and corporate governance. Before joining CIH Bank, she served as Head of Resources and Finance at the CDG Group, where she was involved in financing strategy, ESG initiatives and consolidated financial oversight for a portfolio of more than 100 entities.

Her career also includes more than a decade leading Maghreb Titrisation. During her tenure, she played a role in the development of securitization as a financing and asset-structuring instrument in Morocco, giving her extensive experience in investment, financial engineering and asset management.

Her academic background combines engineering, finance and management. She graduated from École Hassania des Travaux Publics, holds an MBA in Finance, Strategy and Management from École des Ponts Business School, and has also obtained an administrator certification from the Moroccan Institute of Directors.

At CIH Bank, her expanded responsibilities come at a time when corporate financing and real estate remain key areas for Morocco’s banking sector. Her experience in structuring finance and managing major assets is expected to support the bank’s efforts to strengthen its offering to businesses while addressing evolving competitiveness and sustainability requirements.
