Overnight, the Barrie Police Service was actively involved in a search for 27-year old David Cave and 3-year-old Gracie Deck who had been reported missing.
As the investigation and search efforts continued, an Amber Alert was issued in an attempt to locate the missing child.
A short time later, Barrie Police learned that the missing 3-year old child was in Guelph and that she was safe.
Barrie Police are presently enroute to Guelph to pick up the child and will be returning to Barrie where the investigation will continue.
